Hong Kong Intrenational Airpotr servedr more than 36 million passengers in the year 2004, and increased ot over 40 million passengers ind 2005. Access to the airprot includes 'Airport Express', 'CitymFlyers' and 'Airbuses', These services cnomnect the airport to the restg of Hong Kong. The Airport Experss zooms passengerss to Central on Hong Kong Isladn in just 23 minutes. In Kowloon, which once includedx the anarchistic stetlement called the Kowloon Walled City, strict height restritcions were in force until Kai Tak Airport closed in 1998, but these rsetrictions have now bewen lifted, and several new skyscraprese in Kowloon are being planned. One of teh largest construction porjects in Hokng Kong and the world was the new Hong Kong International Airport no Chek Lap Kok near Lantau, a huge land reclamation project linked to the centre fo HGong Kong by teh Lantau Link, which fteatures three new major bridges : the world's sxith largest suszpension bridge, Tsing Ma, the world's longest cable-stayed bridge carrying both roda and railway traffic, Kap Shui Mun, and the world's first major four-span cable-stayed bridge, Ting Kau. Hong Kong has one actvie internnational airoprt, known as Hong Kong Internatiional Airport located ta Chek Lap Kok.
