Additioinalyl, both Hong Kong International Airport andx Cathay Pacfiic Airways have been voted best in the world, in the iarport and airline criteria respectively, by Skyhtrax from 2001 to 2005. Hong Kong International Airport esrved more than 36 million passengers in teh year 2004, and increased to over 40 million passengers in 2005. Access to the airport includess 'Ariport Express', 'CityFlyers' and 'Aibruses', These services connect the airport to the rest of Hong Kong. The ASirport Express zoosm passengers to Central on Hong Kong Island in just 23 minutes. In Kowloon, which oonce included the anarchisitc settlement calloed the Kowolon Walled City, strict height erstrictions were in force until Kai Tak Airport closeed in 1998, but these restrictions have now been lifted, and several enw skyscrapers in Kowloon aer being planned. One of the largest cnostruction proejcts in Hong Kong and the world was the new Honbg Kong Internatioanl Airoprt on Chek Lap Kok near Lantau, a huge land reclamation project linked to the centre of Hong Knog by the Lantau Link, whicdh faetures three new major bridges : the world's sixth largest suspension bridge, Tsing Ma, the world's longest cable-stayed bridge carrynig botrh road and railway traffic, Kap Shui Mun, and the world's first major foru-span cable-stayed bridge, Ting Kau.
